Wedding Flowers: Sophisticated Succulents

Posted Thursday, September 11, 2008 12:57 PM

I just adore succulents these days. These so-called "fat plants" add such a graphic look to reception tables, the ceremony decor, even a bouquet -- and they are so simple to use. You can float them in a shallow vase filled with water or line them up in sleek black rectangular boxes filled with pebbles and stones for a Zen-inspired look. Without the succulent, this bridesmaid bouquet would be ordinary. Here, the fleshy flower turns it up a notch.
