Bridesmaids Fashion: The New Bouquet

Posted Thursday, September 25, 2008 12:39 PM

Would you consider ditching the bridesmaid's bouquets for stylish accessories? Alaynne and Gardiner did just that for their outdoor wedding in St. Louis. Check out their aisle style below!

If fans and parasols don't fit your theme, consider other hand held trinkets like baskets, bells, and candles (which would be especially charming at dusk). The real treat, most of these accessories will cost just a fraction of the price of a designer bouquet.

I LOVE this idea!!!  My wedding has an oriental theme and this is so perfect, something I never would have thought of. Thank you!

My FI is chinese so we are including a lot of his heritage into the wedding. We are having 2 ceremonies a tea ceremony and a non-denomintational ceremony. Both to be outdoors. So while my maids will be dressed they will be able to shade themselves with the parasols we bought them. Then when they walk down the aisle they will carry a very small simple bouquet. Parasols and bouquets for pictures as well!
