Wedding Traditions: Bouquet Toss Alternatives

Putting your own spin on a custom is a great way to add a personal touch to your wedding, and a lot of brides are taking a new approach the traditional bouquet toss.

At her wedding, Ragan gave the bouquet to one of her best friends, along with a toast to express her appreciation. Carrie decided to honor both her mom and her new mother-in-law by presenting each with a bouquet during the reception. And Megan made sure everyone got in on the act: She gave each female guest a small piece of her bouquet.

Are you tossing your bouquet? Or are you tweaking (or skipping) this tradition?

Search bridal bouquet photos, read more wedding traditions, and find out the best ways to preserve your bouquet.

definitely skipping, my FI doesn't want to toss the garter, so I think I'm going to freeze my bouquet, and give a small one to each my mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother-in-law.
