Wedding Favor Ideas: Patterned Flip-flops

We're seeing a ton of patterned wedding decor. From gingham ring pillows (see the photo below!) to invites, linens, and stationery, it seems like couples everywhere are incorporating patterns into their wedding day decor. For their outdoor wedding in Delaware, Jacalyn and Dan wanted their guests to comfortably dance the night away, so, they filled up galvanized buckets with black-and-white flip-flops and set them near the dance floor for their guests to wear. It's such a functional, easy, and affordable (think $1-2/pair) way to perk up your space.

Where do you find such cheap flip flops?  My google searches didn't produce much.  I love this idea and want to do it, but only if I can find the inexpensive ones.

Check out Wal-Mart or Old Navy (they tend to have really good deals on footwear). Good luck!

I really want to do this as well but how do you decide what sizes to buy?  Would you buy enough for every guest?  We have just over 200 people coming to our wedding... Any thoughts/ suggestions would be great!

It's probably easier for a party with a smaller guest list, but if you're doing it for a big bash probably half of the people to a 2/3 will change their shoes. I would divide the shoes evenly among the middle sizes where most people fall and have a few small and large just in case. Or, you could put a post on your wedding website asking (or on invites on the return card).
