Reception Ideas: Formal Kids' Tables

You want to give the littlest guests at your wedding a special place to sit, but if you're afraid that a bulky, plastic table will destroy your reception look, take your cue from Tara and Nick's wedding in Southampton, NY (designed by Claire Bean).Cover a short, wooden picnic bench in the same linens as the adults' tables and give them the same tableware your other guests get (if they're old enough). Decorate their table with a mini version of your centerpieces and stuff keep-'em-busy activities in baskets that match your colors.

Using this idea!

I had seen something like this done at a friends wedding last summer and I thought it was a great idea!!  I'm not sure if I will be doing exactly this way, but I will at least have an activity center set up for this children to color and do little clean(don't want to get them all dirty!!  =D ) art projects!!

Such a smart idea. If they're occupied, they can't get into trouble!

I'm doing the same, putting a table down for the kids. Some crayons  and a big paper and a couple cameras for the. Capture the wedding from there eyes and keep them busy!  :) So awesome.
