Wedding Centerpiece Ideas - Think Outside of the Vase

Our photo editor, Rebecca Crumley, spotted this centerpiece from Christine and Jason's wedding in Garrison, NY. It took me a second to realize that Jason's mom, who arranged the flowers, placed the dahlia outside of the vase. Picture this with the lights off and the votive candle inside glowing. The flower will be lit from behind, giving it an ultra-romantic look. But even in the daytime, it'll still turn heads. Photo by Ryan Jensen
