It's Anja's birthday today! As a tribute, I wanted to talk about her favorite subject: cakes!
Instead of a flower-covered cake table, Ariana and Frank (with help from New York event designers
In Any Event) chose to highlight their chocolate truffle–covered cake (by New York baker
April Reed) with a dramatic lighting display (by
Levy Lighting in New York). The gobo in the shape of a tree went perfectly with their modern garden theme, and the non-traditional cake and display made a stunning statement together. Photo by
