Wedding Cake Idea - DIY Toppers

Some DIY projects, well, look like they were DIY. Not these pearl monogram toppers, which I would have sworn the bride, Tara in Naples, FL, spent hundreds on. Her crafty mom and sister slid some pearl beads onto wire, then shaped the wire into a fun monogram. How easy is that?

I think monogram toppers are appropriate for bling themed weddings or those that really focus on the monogram as a theme, but in general I think they are cliche.  I actually do not like the old toppers either.  I much prefer flowers because there is so much variety!

I LOVE this idea. I ahve been searching for the perfect cake topper and I haven't found anything that I like. I think this will work!

I'm so excited to find this idea. I'm going to put a twist on it and do our table numbers in beads on wire. This should be a great money saver and i've been looking all over for an idea like this!
