Pre-Wedding Events - Country Chic Rehearsal Dinners

Posted Wednesday, April 22, 2009 8:26 PM

Yes, your rehearsal dinner tone can match your wedding's, but why not mix things up? If you're doing formal indoors for the main event, throw a backyard bash for the rehearsal dinner. I love the country musicians, the rusted jars and sunflower centerpieces and the couple's laid-back, yet polished, attire at Lily and Preston's White Sulphur Springs, WV, dinner.

re: Pre-Wedding Events - Country Chic Rehearsal Dinners

I love this idea! I have always said I wanted a casual rehearsal dinner, and that is exactly what we are doing. We live in Bloomington, Indiana, which is the home of Indiana University. To celebrate our dinner we are going to a local restaurant that is a staple of IU students. It is a casual sports bar, and we got everyone in the wedding party custom IU t-shirts to wear. Everyone else is going to wear red and white. We are going to have pizza, beer, and bar food. I think I am just as excited for that night as I am for the reception!!

Are you going to Nick's? You should totally play Sink the Biz...with a champagne flute for a wedding spin :)

(one of my closest friends went to IU)
