Favorite Photo Books as Wedding Guest Books

You don't have to love sock monkeys (even though I do!) to love this idea: Get a book of photos of your favorite thing -- birds, baseball, beer, whatever! -- and tell guests to write messages in that. Don't forget a sign and some markers!

...I love this idea...my fiance and I are slightly disgusted with the idea of a guest book, because we'll probably go through it once and then never look at it again.  This way, it's more interesting to flip through on rainy days ten years from now!!  Totally doing this.

We had pictures of our dogs taken by the best pet photographer, Grace Chon, and plan to use that as our guestbook!  We took pictures all over downtown LA with the dogs and I can't wait to see how our guestbook turns out!  Who wants a boring guestbook anyways?!

Kind of like nicholskasey mentioned, I made up a photo book of pictures of the two of us through Shutterfly.com.  I figured it would give people a chance to fill in the spaces with some sort of comment instead of simply signing their name.  I used pictures spanning over the course of our dating (starting with our earliest pics to the most recent.)

I did the same thing! We had been dating since we were 13 so we had one or two pictures of us at each age per page. Guests who didn't realize we had been together that long loved seeing us grow up together just by flipping through the guest book.

I really like this idea! I'm not a big fan of guest books either. I know my fiance and I will probably only read it once to get names and addresses for our thank you cards, and then it will collect dust in the attic. I'm going to try this for sure!!
