Artichoke Wedding Bouquets

Posted Wednesday, June 24, 2009 6:12 PM

I just had to share this amazing bouquet we featured on The Knot Live earlier today. You see those purple things? They're artichokes! Besides being tasty in salads, they look amazing in bouquets, especially when there's spiky thistle, jade roses, and velvety millet mixed in. The talented Anne Kilcullen of Blade Floral & Event Designs, LLC, whipped this up. And it costs a lot less than flowers-only bouquets -- just $115!

They look great dried!

I had to tell you all--this bouquet is still on my desk at The Knot. For brides who want to preserve their bouquets, this one is a great option. It looks just as good as it dries up!

A beautiful bouquet and I love that you gave a price point.  I'm always curious as to how much something would cost.  I know it varies by region, but I wish you would show more prices.

re: Artichoke Wedding Bouquets

I am in love with this bouquet, but as a DIY bride I am having a hard time finding the purple dried artichokes. Any suggestions?
