Bridesmaid Dress Fashion - Choose a Color Palette

Posted Thursday, August 13, 2009 1:34 PM

We're beyond the bridesmaids-wearing-the-same-dress-with-different-necklines idea here -- it's a full-on color palette of bridesmaid dresses. Everyone looks different, everyone looks gorgeous, and yet they all look like they belong with their best girl friend in the white dress who's getting married. I heart it.

All the different shades are bit distracting for my taste.

I would have to agree with Melissa...it is a cool idea (think "Sex and the City - the movie"), when there are only 3-4 ladies...it wouldn't be too distracting then. Also, I could see it being less riveting on the flow if there were different colors in the same palette...but yes, this photo does look a little busy for a bridal party.

Not sure what it's distracting anyone from??? If anything, it’s giving people something to look at! I mean, 8 girls with the same gown?!  Anyway, the printed dress is the Maid of Honor. In order for her to be 'different' her dress incorporates all of the tones.

I don't like it when all the girls wear the same thing either but this is a bit much.

this is gorgeous- i think making your girls look completely the same is out, having each girl be comfortable in something she feels sexy and confident in, and can afford, is IN!

LOVE IT
