You maybe/probably recognize the TOMS shoes brand name from the ATT commercial. If not, here's the deal -- for every purchased pair of TOMS shoes, a new pair of shoes is given to a child in need.

Well, TOMS has a new line of wedding shoes (in off-white, white, silver, gold, and black) and it works the same way. They'll also give you a discount if you outfit your entire wedding party in them -- they look like the perfect pair of dancing shoes if you ask me.

really...? Do they have to have those ugly tags on the side? If they could just class it up a little more. Then I wouldn't mind buying them if they are for a good cause.

i just got married and gifted TOMS to my wedding party... we loved wearing them during my wedding! it was great to be able to dance and have fun with everyone in comfortable, cute shoes with a great cause!

Wow I cannot even believe the negative reply above!  Did you ever stop to think that your bridal/groom party has to buy shoes and if you just make them Toms then you'll also be giving that many children who can't even afford shoes (much less a wedding!) a pair of great shoes!  I'm sure they're not handing them back saying "No, this tag isn't good enough for me."

It's a great idea.  I love it.

Lyn, I'm with you. I'll pay double (buying my bridal party shoes if I had to AND donating) just so these don't show up anywhere near my wedding. I love the cause and have supported in the past, but damn. Those are fug.

They are the ugliest things i've ever seen. However i would totally do it for the cause. and they do look insanely comfortable! But i guess that's always the way with shoes, comfort or beauty, you can never have both. But i guess the cause makes them beautiful in their own way.

Well, could've used that discount last year!! Haha, my friend had her entire wedding party wear TOMS...and it was the Hanson Great Divide ones, because they matched her wedding colors, plus their wedding song was actually a Hanson song, so it made a whole bunch of sense.  I plan on wearing them for my wedding as well.  Besides, who cares what they look like?  They're comfortable, plus, if you're wearing a long dress anyway, no one will see them!  And on top of that, you can continue wearing them beyond the wedding!

OMG i LOVE this idea of TOM's Shoes at a Wedding.. who would of thought of that??.. your pictures are Awesome!!!...

I'm a buyer for Love's Creation Gift Boutique, and we sell TOMS shoes there. Located in Sanford, Fl.

We have Bridal Registry there also...and I NEVER thought of encouraging Brides to buy them for the Dance floor...

thank you SO much for suggesting that!!.. I have a total new outlook on this new avenue.
