Wedding Photography Idea - Day-After Photo Sessions

If the idea of running off with your photographer the day-of to shoot couple's shots (while your friends and family are over at the cocktail hour mixing and mingling), makes you feel a little left out, you might consider a day-after photo session. Okay, it doesn't have to be the day after, but rather anytime after the wedding (when you're much more relaxed) to regroup with your photographer and capture tons of fun shots of the two of you. It's also a great excuse to get back into your dress if you ask me!

I've seen that done...with the newlyweds in their honeymoon suite...in fact, I'm doing it myself. I'm going to have the photos of us giving one another wedding gifts and relaxing (cuddling on the loveseat in the hotel room), then have them end it with a picture of the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the outside door knob.

We are doing this.  We are getting married on New Year's Eve so we'll be pretty busy.  We are doing our photos on January 2nd.

We did this and it was SOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!! Three days after the wedding, I got back into my dress, DH wore a suit (instead of the tux he wore at the wedding) and we went to Nyack.... took pics by the water, outside in the streets, sitting on benches,etc.  I wore funky jewelry and flip flops... it was great and I highly highly recommend it:)
