This is probably one of the craziest wedding ideas I've ever seen: a turkey feather wedding from 1947. A very special thank-you to LIFE.com for sending it over just in time for the holidays. Yikes!

The amusing thing is that Davids Bridal has a dress in their selection that looks quite similar to that one :)
