Wedding Ceremony Idea - "Happy Tears" Handkerchiefs

Posted Tuesday, January 05, 2010 5:04 PM

Love this idea for a homespun look to the wedding ceremony: Give out "happy tears" handkerchiefs to all your guests. Tuck them into envelopes lined with colorful paper and have ushers hand them out. Or, even better, display them in a vintage suitcases!

Ahh, I think this is amazing! I always sob at weddings and this is so cute! I am trying to figure out a way to combine it with my programs...

We are doing a similar thing for my daughter's wedding but I am embroidering her new monogram and the wedding date on each one.

This is the cutest idea ever - i saw this and knew i had to have them at my ceremony.  What makes it even better, is that my grandma actually gave me her hankie she used on her wedding use for mine.
