I love it.  I wouldn't list as many dates... I would only put the major ones.. when we met, when we moved in together and when we got engaged.. then I would word it something like, "you may not have been there for every important date, but please be a part of this one! Save the date... "  Keep it short and sweet... we don't need to know the first time you ate steak.  LOL

The whole fun of it are the extra tidbits - the basics of engagement, living together and proposal are relatively similar for everyone. It is the little details that make this couple different and it is the details that are the warmest. Hearing that she ended her vegetarianism on his steak is very endearing and gives us a glimpse into their lives - plus it was clearly an important moment for them.
