Wedding Reception Idea - Themed Centerpieces!

Rain's good luck on your wedding day, right? This photo melted my heart a little -- um, a lot! The theme is "Raindrops on Roses," brought to us so brilliantly through vintage parasols and hanging crystals over gorgeous bundles of different rose varieties. Individual crystals were also placed around the table and other lower centerpieces of rosesbuds to simulate the raindrop effect.

Sidenote: I particularly like the twist on the classic flower, thinking way outside the box!

DON'T TRUST YOUR BOUQUET TO HELLER & REID

Hi!  I was married in August 2009, after my perfect day....I knew I wanted to preserve my wedding bouquet.   It's now March 2010 and I still don't have my bouquet preservation returned to me!  DON'T TRUST YOUR BOUQUET TO HELLER & REID!!!  They have been paid in full since Nov 2009 and I still don't have my bouquet back!!!!  No one will return my calls and they keep saying that it can take 8-12 weeks or longer after payment....well what is the extent on 'longer?'  The cost was over $600 and I currently have no bouquet, no services rendered and no items returned to me.  Do not throw your money away and find another preservation company!

I love this idea for a theme.  Since I'm having an outdoor wedding I'm terrified of rain.  Sure I'll have a tent, but I feel like the pictures won't be nice.  At least if I had this sort of thing for a theme, I'd feel like the rain would fit, haha.  It inspires me to come up with rain-alternatives.
