These little dudes caught my eye as I was looking through photos of one of our most recent Real Wedding picks for the Kansas Missouri magazine -- what a crazy-fun idea!
UPDATE I just got the back story on the ninjas. From the bride, Melissa:
"When we first started dating, I showed Chris an article I had seen in the New York Times about a production of Hamlet done entirely with tiny plastic ninjas, the kind you get from a gumball machine or an arcade. Chris recognized the ninjas as the same ones he gave as prizes when he worked at the Tokens'n'Tickets video arcade in his home town, Warsaw, Indiana. A couple of weeks later, after a date, I discovered a tiny ninja with a little flag message on my desk after Chris had left. This went on for a few weeks. The ninjas eventually found their way into our lives as ornaments on the Christmas tree, gifts for our fellow ultimate players, and general bearers of happiness. We thought that they would be a great way to set the tone of our party. Chris painstakingly inserted a pin into each one (matching the pinhead color to the ninja color) and made and attached the flags to the little flagpoles. They were a big hit, and we still see them at friends' houses spreading joy, like tiny rainbow-colored plastic ninjas always do."
Awesome.
