Pretty Wedding Shower Ideas!

I'm so excited to share these inspirational images! Last weekend a group of girls I'm lucky enough to call my friends threw an amazing baby shower for a special mommy-to-be. Yes, I said it... baby. But you can still take these lovely ideas and spin them into your own party ideas. The guest of honor just happens to be a blogger extraordinaire of one of our fave wedding blogs, 100 Layer Cake. Mixed in with great touches from dynamite calligrapher Love, Jenna, this was one fabulous and delightfully girly Sunday afternoon!

Circles and ribbons can go very far and you don't have to go overboard galore to have touches of adorableness. Check out these cute place cards!

Fresh fruit purees jazzed up with doily labels were quite the hit to the champagne bar. I loved the use of mixed ordinary bottles over common pitchers. Simple elegance and chic!

Some guests in attendance brought their own specialty signature dishes -- such a sweet touch of personalization. Note: mixing in the spools for sign displays... (have I mentioned the word adorable lately?)

The invitations came with a pre-templated circle as part of the RSVP. All guests replied with sentiments for the expecting couple. Putting it all together in one display was a lovely surprise for them. And who needs tape? Jenna cleverly sewed in a button to fix the circles to the string.

Finally, I loved the brilliant touch of mixed lace and satin ribbons dangling from the balloons. Beyond.

Congratulations Jillian and Scott, we can't wait to meet our future buddy!
