While we're on the topic of awesome dessert ideas, how about this one? Neither Tara or Mitch were really into cake so they decided to serve root beer floats and chocolate stout floats instead! We just added their California ranch wedding to the site and I highly recommend checking out the rest of the details.

Feast your eyes on this delicious image - I think my jaw dropped below the equator when I saw it! Don't be fooled, it is not mini, but actually three tiers the approximate size of an average wedding cake. Add one to your dessert bar, or as a groom's cake alternative. Yummy!

Using the unofficial wedding idea counter in my head, here's engagement photo idea #199 billion: Show off your engagement photos at your ceremony, like this Alabama couple did here on their summer ceremony program fans. (Okay, I exaggerate in the numbers department, but seriously -- there are countless decor ideas for engagement photos!)

Three steps to a way-cool bar:
1. Take engagement photos.
2. Turn them into colorful pop art.
3. Hang 'em up behind the alcohol!

Tall, overstuffed centerpieces are so, well, over. This organic look with green goddess calla lilies (the big leafy flowers up front!) is much fresher.

Wedding planner Steve Kemble, star of TLC's "Battle of the Wedding Planners," gave us his top tips for throwing a wedding guests will love:
- Tell your love story in your ceremony programs.
- Combine the father/daughter and mother/son dances into one song.
- Change the color of the lighting as the reception goes on.
Tune in to his special on TLC tonight, November 13, at 10 p.m. EST!

Okay, I realize that theme-y engagement photo shoots aren't for everyone, but I'm a big fan of this North by Northwest-themed engagement photo shoot! There's just something so desperately romantic about being chased through a field by a crop-dusting plane -- you know, in that classic-old-movie kind of way (*wink*).
