Over the weekend, my bridesmaids and I went to the LA Fashion District to look for bridesmaid dresses. To be honest, Fashion District is not my scene; I simply cannot shop at chaotic stores even if they have great deals. I say no to after-thanksgiving

I wholeheartedly believe in the statement: "nobody cares about your wedding but you." While my MOH and fiance inevitably hear an earful from me everyday about my progress, I make it a point not to discuss my wedding planning at work unless I am asked.

I intended to splurge on hair and make-up . . . that was, until I splurged on the venue, the videographer, the dress, and just about every aspect of wedding planning. Besides, the cheap side of me just could not justify spending four or five hundred dollars

I call this dress round two because it is the second wedding dress I've purchased [ducking]. Mind you, the first dress is fully refundable (thank goodness for Nordstrom's lenient return policy) so I am not taking a huge loss like many other two-dress
