Wedding Weather

A knottie on my local board asked a question related to the weather on her wedding day and got me thinking.  To be honest, we picked our date and venue without much thought into the weather aspect.  After all, they don't say "sunny California" for no reasons, right?

Weather.com has a feature where you can predict the weather (based on historical data) on your wedding date.  You can even compare the weather between two locations.  It just doesn't get any easier :)  So here are the statistics for my wedding date:

Sunrise: 5:42 AM
Sunset: 8:05 PM
Average High: 78 degrees
Average Low: 61 degrees
Record High: 109 degrees (in 1981)
Record Low:53 degrees (in 1950)
Precipitation: 0.1 inch

The sunset time is important to us because kids (i.e. our flowergirl and her baby sister) are not allowed in the venue after sunset (and no, we still haven't quite figured out what to do with them).  Overall, the weather is decent, which is what we'd expected initially.  This definitely makes me feel better about the fact that we have absolutely no contingency plans for our outdoor wedding :)
