This piece is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind way to wear your something old... It is constructed using gorgeous, unique vintage components. The small, peachy-pink pearls are vintage cultured pearls from the 1930's. They are 'new-old stock', meaning they are *not* used - they were recovered from an old embroidery shop, where they were orginally intended to embroider.... Wedding dresses!!! How perfect is that???
The connectors which hold the two strands of the necklace together are also new-old, vintage beads - these are from the 1950s. They are silver-backed pink crystal. The sparkle of these is *gorgeous*. I have clear white ones I could use instead, if you prefer.
The remaining pearls are new freshwater pearls. I chose these because they have a gorgeous, shiny luster. However - I have other shapes and sizes of pearls available, including round vintage pearls.
The necklace is finished with a unique and beautiful vintage clasp - I can send you more pictures if you would like.
I have the materials to make a few more pieces like this. Each one would be constructed to be unique and one-of-a-kind, and they will be availble one a first-come, first-serve basis until I run out of these supplies. Because they are so unique I most likely will not be able to get them again. If you're interested - please contact me soon.
