My theme for my Malibu beach reception was beach chic and understated elegance.  I used shades of ivory, sea glass blue, bright pinks and soft turquoise to bring my theme to life.  The potted orchid centerpieces were a hit, both because guests could take home a lasting gift and because they are more ecologically sensitive than cut flowers.
