This is completely a work in progress as I try to figure out this whole bio thingy! :)

Our one year anniversary was approaching, and we decided it would be fun to go back to Carnival, the restaurant where we had our first date. Stephen had told me that dinner and a horse-drawn carriage ride around the city would be his gift to me, as he was trying really hard to save money for the ring.
You would think I would have seen it coming, but we had been shopping for rings just the week before, and he had arranged for all of the jewelers to tell me that it would take 4-6 weeks for a ring to be made. I thought a proposal was still months away.
We had a wonderful time at Carnival, and then we took our Carriage ride, which was beautiful. At one point I said "I wish he would go by the Pancake House!"(The place where we first met)and Stephen replied "I don't think he'll go that way..." Sure enough, toward the end of the ride the horse turned down the street that the Pancake House was on. Suddenly the horse slowed down and pulled a quick U-turn right in front of the restaurant. Stephen got on his knee and asked me to be his wife, and everyone at the surrounding restaurants applauded when I said yes. He had his two best friends there to photograph and film the entire thing. It was an absolutely perfect moment. Needless to say, pancakes have a very special place in our relationship! :)

I am absolutely in love with my cushion-cut ring. It is even better than what I dreamed of!

We will be getting married at St. Xavier Cathedral in Cincinnati Ohio. It is aboslutely stunning!

Our reception will be held at the Hilton Netherland Plaza in the Hall of Mirrors.
