We're Gettin Hitched!
Almost love at first sight

Aaron and I met in September of 2005. I was at a local bar with a few friends enjoying a pre-season Chief's football game while he was there with his co-workers for going-away/inventory party. I remember noticing him right away, but being pretty shy...I just stole glances every now and then. One of his friends caught me looking and brought up who he though I was staring at to talk. It turned out I met Aaron's best friend Jasmond instead of him! We all talked for a little while but it took a few months for anything to work out between Aaron and I. I ended up calling him in May to go out with some of my friend and we've been inseparable ever since!
The Proposal

In November of 2007, I had gotten Aaron an early Christmas present. Because it was a tree orniment, I gave it to him early so we could actually enjoy it. He opened it and immediately put it on our tree! He told me that he would go ahead and let me open one of my presents early to make it fair, but that he had to go get it so I needed to shut my eyes. I shut my eyes and heard him open the garage door! I remember laughing to myself because I thought it was SO silly that he was scared of me snooping so he hid the present in the garage! After what seemed like years...I heard him come back inside. I opened my eyes and he handed me a glass bottle of Jones soda! I though it was cute because that's his last name, but my disappointment must have shown on my face, because Aaron then instructed me to actually look at the bottle. I looked down, and on the label of the bottle was our picture! I couldn't believe it! That was the coolest thing I had seen and I started asking him how he got it done, did he get more then one bottle....a hundred questions came flying out. I could tell Aaron was getting a little annoyed with me because he ignored my questions and told me to READ the bottle. I looked down again and just to the left of our picture were the words "Will you Marry Me?". Once I was convinced this was really happening and my heart started beating again, I said Yes!
Wedding Planning Details

We're planning a simple, rustic elegant wedding set for September 25, 2010. Planning is underway and the ideas are rushing in.

***Normal Knot disclaimer*** I've been gathering pictures for over a year now and I've done my best to give credit where it's due, but if you see a picture of yours, page me on the Sept 2010 board and I'll be happy to give you credit!

Our Venue

We're having our ceremony and reception at The Lodge at Ironwoods. The ceremony will be on the stone patio up against the woods!

The inside of The Lodge has an amazing vaulted ceiling and fits our "rustic elegance" theme.

The Reception

Our tables will have brown linens and two different centerpieces. Here are some of the looks I'm going for!

Half of the centerpieces will be coffee beans and candles in varied vases.

This is the overall feel that we're going for! This is from MrsChristine98's wedding....just beautiful!

My Attire

I have to grow my hair out...but I love these styles from the knot gallery and BellaBride2B

After our ceremony I will take out my veil and put in a flower clip. I won't do two...just one big one behind my ear. A very trendy and cute way to end the night!

I'm not a big jewelry kind of girl...but I found these online and am absolutely in love with them!

Bridal Party wear

The bridesmaids will be wearing long brown dresses. They will most likely get to choose their own style but here are some that I like

The men will be wearing black tuxes. Aaron will wear either white or ivory/champagne depending on the dress I decide on while the GM will wear goldish/copper ties

Emma, the daughter of one of my BM's will be our flower girl. Until I decide on my dress...here is what I have planned for her.

I even know what Bubbs and Max will be wearing as our ringbearers!
