We met through some mutual friends in high school. I blew him off at first because I wasn't interested at that time. After we graduated, we finally met up. We started hanging out more, and I realized he was such a sweet guy, and unlike any of the other jerks I dated. We spent a lot of time together and really hit it off. We've been inseparable ever since.

He had a plan to take me out to dinner for what I thought was to celebrate his job raise. Little did I know, his intentions were to propose and take me out for a wonderful dinner. We were at his parent's house just lounging like any normal day. He wanted me to come up to him to give him a hug, but I wanted him to come to me and meet me halfway. We hugged for a long time and then he asked. He thoroughly confused me twice by asking, "would you marry," I said, "yes of course honey." Then he asked a third time and I was still confused, but apparently he then said, "will you marry me?" I was still lost because I was focused on how confusing his questions had been. Finally he said that he had the ring in his pocket. I finally understood and of course I said, "YES!"
