We met in 2003 while both in school. Stacy was studying ballet education at the University of the Arts and Jeremy was working on his masters degree in environmental studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Jeremy was working at a local pub where Stacy would meet with friends on weekends. After noticing Jeremy, Stacy found herself hanging out there a lot more. Stacy finally worked up the nerve to give him her number, or maybe she was threatened by friends. Either way, the rest is history!

Jeremy took Stacy to Rehoboth Beach, DE for her 27th birthday to have dinner at Dogfish Head Brew Pub (We recently started brewing our own beer and find it fun to visit different brew pubs). They spent the day on the beach and then had a fun dinner. Jeremy insisted that Stacy open her birthday gift on the beach. When they got there, they found a quiet spot. Stacy excitedly began tearing back the paper to reveal a brown shipping box. Inside sat a little white box that Stacy knew very well (inside held her grandmother's engagement ring). Stacy could not believe it and actually said out loud, "Are you serious?" Jeremy got down on his knee and changed Stacy's life for the better forever!
