Tom & I met my freshman year of college at UC in 2004. One of my roomates knew him & decided to introduce us & we've been together ever since.

He proposed on Valentine's Day at Celestial in Mt. Adams. I was completely clueless that we were even going to dinner until I got home from work @ 5:00. All week had had acted like he had no idea when Valentine's Day was & kept telling me it was the 15th. But, little did I know that there was a ring sitting in our closet since Novemeber & he had made the dinner reservation in September. So, after drinks in the piano bar we went to our table by the city which had a bottle of champagne and a dozen roses. He popped the question at the table asking me if I'd make him the happiest man in the world....and of course I said yes.
