How we met

Jeremy and I met in NYC in May of 2006. I was living in the city, and Jeremy was subletting an apartment for the summer in order to decide whether to move there or not. He didn't know many people there, so he decided to look on myspace for other UMASS alumni to hang out with. Yes, he found me online! ha! He contacted me, and that's where it all started. The funny thing is, not only did we both go to UMASS Amherst, but we were the same year. We also lived about 40 yards from each other but never met.
The engagement

I knew Jeremy was going to propose quite a few months before he did it. He had hired someone to make my ring, but they went MIA. Jeremy had to fire them and hire someone else. He got so frustrated with the situation that he broke down and told me about it. lol! After that I was expecting it to happen around every corner! He threw me off though and gave me an 'update' that the ring was delayed again. By that point I thought it'd be weeks before it happend. Two days later, Jeremy came into our bedroom to say goodbye to me and give me a kiss before he left for work. This was our normal routine. Half asleep, I put my arms out to hug him and I told him to have a good day. He said "Before I go, I have to ask you if you'll marry me" and he pulled out the ring. Boy was I jolted awake! It was probably the only way that he could have surprised me... while I was asleep! :-)
The 'official' wedding ceremony

We're have a private ceremony the morning of our public wedding with just Jeremy, myself, our JP and a couple of friends to witness. We decided that we wanted to do this at a place that we love to hike, Bulls Bridge in Kent, CT.
The public wedding and reception

We're having our public ceremony and reception at the Lounsbury House in Ridgefield, CT. Jeremy's parents also got married there. One of my best friends will be officiating our ceremony. We wanted this to be a special moment shared with someone we truly love and care about.
Work in progress

As you all know, wedding planning takes some time!!! So, we're still working out all of the details. Luckily, we still have a ways to go until the date. Here are a few of the details that we have figured out...
