About my wedding

Wedding Planning Bio

I got my inspiration for the plum and green theme from the Fall 2008 David's Bridal collection. These dresses are the perfect way to take an outdoor wedding and make it a little more formal. The Bridal party will be wearing whatever version of a long, plum colored dress that they choose.

I like all white bouquets. I like the ones that are hand tied. Most likely I will have all one color because I plan to DIY my bouquets.

I like this one too...The splash of color is a nice contrast. I would probably have a darker shot of purple.

I like the way this looks...Outdoors in the evening lit by candles and twinkle lights. I love the soft, romantic feel.

An idea for aisle markers. I love the how the green will go with the purples I've already picked out.

I love the look of these centerpieces!

A cake I think is pretty.

I have heard a lot of great things about the Freight Shed. We have chosen it because of the location, the beautiful view out onto the York River, and the price. Another perk is the ability to choose whatever caterers or vendors we want!

The Riverwalk Landing Performance area is yards away from our reception venue, the historic Freight Shed. This green space has a gorgeous view of the York River and a stage where we will share our vows with one another. It is owned by York County so
