Future Mr. and Mrs. Poland

Scott and I first met in April of 2005. I began working at Smitty's Cinema, where he had been working for several years. We worked together for about four months before he had the gall to ask me out, via text. Shortly after we began dating I ended up moving in with him and his parents where we lived for about a year and a half before getting an apartment of our own. Its been two + years since we moved into our apartment and are currently looking into purchasing a home with our two cats, Titus and Tango.

Saturday February 28th, 2009, after weeks of talk that we could never afford to get married and that he could never afford a ring, Scott proposed. My dad and stepmom had come over for dinner and after they left I had begun painting my nails. As I was doing so, Scott yelled for me to look at the cat cause something was wrong with him. I told him he was probably fine and that I was painting my nails. So when he wouldn't stop I thought maybe something was really wrong so I got up and looked and Tango, our orange tiger had a ribbon stuck to him, so I told Scott to take it off cause my nails were wet and that the cat would be fine. Well, he wouldn't so finally I said screw and pulled the ribbon off from his neck and there was this ring that slid down it. As I turned around, Scott was down and one knee and asked me to marry him. It was a wonderful moment and a perfectly planned suprise!

The wedding is planned for August 28th 2010. The location is at a camp my best friend and her family have worked at for years. Its a beautiful lake side camp with a large grange hall the will accommodate all our guests and our ceremony if weather doesn't permit. We are planning the ceremony for 4 or 5 oclock right by the lake, the ground will be much dryer by August than in the above picture, with Robert Simmons =) marrying us. We each have four attendants. Jessica Simmons, Amy Sawyer, Megan Stewart, Bridget Chase and Katey Cloutier being my Maids. Jess McConkey, Corey Poland, Tyler Bickford and James Wheeler being Scott's groomsman. My father Ken Brown will be walking me down the aisle. Reception is to follow imediately on the hill in the hall.
