We first met in high school through a mutual friend and began dating, after proms and the normal high school stuff we both went to college and graduated from UCLA. Go Bruins! After I finished school in march we went on a trip to China to celebrate my victory over undergrad. We had talked many times before about getting married and even when would be the right time. After dating nearly seven years, talk of weddings and engagement only comes naturally. When we got to Shanghai we visited a beautiful garden in the city. I commented to him "This is the most beautiful place we've visited so far. You really screwed up. You should have bought a ring and proposed to me here". A few minutes later he said "unfortunately, you took the words right out of my mouth." Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him while presenting me with the most beautiful ring I've ever seen.
