About my wedding

We will be getting married in the Church and by a very close friend of my family, who happens to be a priest! I wouldn't have it any other way!

Kathleen & Mark
THE Proposal Shot!

This is a photo of when Mark got down on one knee to propose! It's a little blurry (taken by our friend on his BlackBerry)...but I love this picture!
Our Engagement Night Photo

This photo was taken about ten minutes after Mark proposed; as you can see, he had the menu completely customized (this was done at Ruth's Chris Chicago). They are amazing!
My Beautiful Engagement Ring

Mark did an amazing job on my ring; I had zero input (always wanted it to be something he picked anyhow). The center stone is a round brilliant cut diamond, with channel-set diamonds in the band.
Engagement Party Photo

This is our photo from our engagement party that was held in Melbourne, Victoria (Australia); I was there for work for 9 months.
Our Save the Date

This is our STD; I created them in Photoshop and had them printed with VistaPrint - for a total of $30 I had over 100 printed! Great deal.
Wedding Monogram

I created this using Photoshop. Many of the ideas came from the Chicago Knotties! :)

All Things Paper

This is my idea for the invitation, which will be DIY. These are from www.cardsandpockets.com.

I found these online; jewel cases wrapped in TB wrapping paper with the ribbon and clear lable with the couples names to look like the Tiffany & Co. label. Not sure I'll do that, but it's cute!

Decor

Once again, I saw this on the Knot. I purchased 20 of these Tiffany Blue paper lanterns from eBay! SOOO excited...it was my first wedding purchase!

I saw something similar on the Knot, somewhere! I also purchased these from eBay (144 total) for $70, which is really cheap! It includes the candles as well.

General idea for the place settings. I like how the menu looks with the little Tiffany Box on the plate.

This is what the chair will look like (chair covers and bows).

Welcome Table

This is the from www.theperfectbox.com and I plan to order one of these!

Once again, I saw this on the Knot; a poem to ask people to give us their gift of advice.

This is where the guests will put their notes of advice.

My Wedding Gown

Now, you have to disregard the look on my face. I know...it's awful. My Mom kept crying so I told her I was going to pretend like I was absolutely MISERABLE and it worked! She kept laughing instead! :)

The back of the dress.

Full length, with a cathedral veil on (not sure that I'll wear that though).

Bridesmaids & Jr. Bridesmaid Dresses

This is a Mori Lee; this isn't the actual color, it's computer generated on their website. The actual color is a lot lighter and it's beautiful!

This is the Junior Bridesmaids dress. Again, it's Mori Lee.

Flower Ideas

I think I saw this on the Knot. Love it.

This is on Mitchell's Flowers (Orland Park) website. I love the look of this bouquet, just different flowers.

This is also from Mitchell's Flowers website.
