We got engaged on August 28. 2009 at the Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, CO. We have been together since high school, this year marks our 9th year together!

Brett and I are high school sweethearts. We knew eachother in middle school, but were too shy to talk to one another. The summer before my freshman year, we happen to both be in summer drivers ed. Brett sat two rows directly behind me. We first talked after class one day when Brett asked me to come to his baseball game later that day, of course I went. After that we began talking more and started dating once school started in the fall.

We are getting married at Jester Park Lodge in Granger, IA. The ceremony will be outside on the lodge deck that over looks the Saylorville Lake. The reception will be inside the lodge following the ceremony.
