Jason & Stefanie
Our Wedding - September 25, 2010

Our traditional Catholic ceremony will be held at my home parish & the reception will follow with cocktails, dinner & dancing at the Plymouth Country Club!
Details

We are going to have a beachy theme for our reception, regardless of the fact that it is in September!
Colors

Tiffany Blue

Teal

Ivory/Light Champagne

Rings & Bling

My beautiful engagement ring that Jason had custom made. It's so perfect!

This is the first ring that Jason had ever given me back in 2003. I still wear this everyday & chances are, it will be my "Something Blue" at the wedding.

Our rings together. I gave Jason this band for an Anniversary gift in 2007. I'm sure his wedding band will resemble something similar.

We've shopped around for bands in general, and it seems as though this is what we got - the stones are round, but it looks perfect with my ering! I can't wait to wear it. :]

With my ering. I LOVE it!

DIY Ideas

These will be our centerpieces, without the blue tulle. I plan to do a trial run soon!

Our tables will be named after various NJ beaches. These will be placed on card holder & stuck into the sand, peeking out at the top of the bubble bowl. One of our engagement pictures will be featured at each table alongside the table name.

We will have small accents like this to compliment the sweetheart, cake & other various tables throughout the venue.

I'm still torn between the possibility of a unity candle or sand ceremony. I think the sand is more of our style & goes well with our beachy feel. We just need to confirm with our chruch if this is okay.

White pomanders with either an ivory/champagne ribbon or tiffany blue ribbon will mark the first several pews at our ceremony.

Wooden painted letters will be placed on the church doors for our ceremony, then at our sweetheart table for the reception.

The "guestbook". I love this because it is something that we can display in our home & will actually look at from time to time, instead of a traditional book.

Obviously I will be doing my new initals. :]

These are paper samples I received to try out the layout for ours & I love this layered look. It will be a panel invite, with the formal invitation on the front & the directions on the back. All stationary will be DIY!

DIY Place "cards".

Other Details

Candy buffet for favors.

Our ring bearer bowl with lyrics from our wedding song & wedding date - and we don't even have a ring bearer! Oh well. From PalomasNest @ etsy!

Our wedding "cake", because who doesn't LOVE cupcakes? They will have tiffany blue or ivory colored icing. The small cake on the top for us to cut will be very simple with a topper. Cake topper is TBD!

These are the cards I had made to formally ask all of my bridesmaids & was so pleased with the results. I wrote a personalized note inside & was even more excited to give them to each of my girls. They loved them. From OccasionsCreations @ etsy!

Flowers

I would like my bouquet to use similar flowers to that of my bridesmaids, except mine be lush with cream/ivory flowers. We will be using silk flowers.

My bouquet will be similar, without the stephanotis. Picture a cream version of the bridesmaid bouquet below.

The bridesmaids bouquets are going to be identical to this. It is a silk bouquet of roses, tulips and delphinium.

Here is the sample bouquet I ordered (which is about half the size of the real bouquet) - I'm really pleased with the result, and it's scented!

Another photo of the sample. The bouts will coincide with the bouquet. I may even decide to opt out completely & just go with pocket squares.

Potential Bride & Bridesmaid Looks

My gown is already purchased & has come in - after a week & a half! I don't want to post pictures on here out of complete paranoia/tradition, but trust me when I say it's everything I could have ever wanted. It's simply perfect!

The girls will be wearing Jasmine Belsoie L9068 in Bahama Breeze. This dress will also be knee-length, not floor length as pictured. It is a gorgeous dress in a matte taffetta fabric & they are so flattering on everyone.

The back of the dress.

This is the color of the dresses.

For my hair, I would like a half-up do with loose curls. Pretty basic. I will be wearing a veil for the ceremony & a flower or some type of hairpin for the reception. I am still undecided on the hair doodad. Pictures to come!

After contemplating between super expensive [& gorgeous] heels, I ordered these Dessy flats in Ivory -- they are perfect & the most practical choice for me. I will never be as tall as Jason no matter what, so there's no point in trying, haha

My earrings! From plumbcrazy @ etsy. I will not be wearing a necklace since the earring are the main focal point.

My bracelet, also from plumbcrazy @ etsy.

Monogram

Monogram is still undecided & TBD, if we still make one. I'm not sure where we would incorporate it, but anyway, here are a few. This one is very simple.

Pretty, but not beachy.

One of my favorites so far.
