Gran Bahia Principe Resort

The Resort:

I can't even begin to describe what a fantastic time we had in Jamaica.  The Gran Bahia Resort couldn't have been more accomodating to our wedding party.  Everywhere we went, Brett and I were known as "the bride and groom".  The staff did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome.  We'd be happy to stay at the resort again anytime.





For the first few days, all we really did was welcome guests, eat, drink and sit by the pool.  We did go with a group to Dunn's River Falls....which was AMAZING.  Other than that, we pretty much lounged in the fantastic pool...





attended and/or participated in the nightly entertainment provided by the resort....



or, we went to the disco....



The Welcome Dinner:

We had our welcome dinner at the buffet restaurant, La Orquidea.  The staff roped off one section of the restaurant for our 26 person group.  Here we ate, introduced everyone, took pictures and handed out our OOT bags.  




and after dinner, we socialized at the veranda bar...







Getting Ready:

 First, Jannee and I had our hair done at the spa.  I brought a picture to model my hair after and was very happy with what they did for the both of us.





After the spa, we went back to my room to get ready.  In the meantime, Brett went to his brother Corey's room to get ready.  We also gave our gifts to our attendants.

Then, back in my room...
