While waiting for the ceremony to start I hung out in the limo with our neice and nephew. No chance for nerves when "discussing" who gets to carry the rings down the aisle.

Meanwhile, inside...

We had both our deacon and priest take part in our ceremony.

Now lets take some pictures, after Grandpa gets his hair combed of course.  I'll spare you all of the family formals.

One of our favorites- notice our ringbearer. He was so over taking pictures.

We really wanted to include the significant others of our wedding party members, so instead of doing a limo we decided to rent a boat and go out on the lake for a bit.
A month before the wedding my parents decided they wanted me to ride to my wedding in a limo. They rented one and I rode to the ceremony with my family members.
The minute we were finished with the wedding party we sent them to the boat so they could enjoy themselves while we finished up. After we finished the limo driver took us for a short ride so we could have a few moments to ourselves before the chaos resumed.
***
While the boat was our favorite part of the day, it proved to be a great source of stress a week before the wedding. The one we had rented was stuck on the Mississippi and wasn't going to make it back to the Finger Lakes in time for our wedding. "Our" boat was substituted with the owners  personal house boat. While we were happy to have a substitution available (and a refund) we did miss our original choice.

Enough of that. Feed me and let's party.

After we finished being pigs we joined our guests outside for the cocktail hour, during which we had a cigar bar. The cigars were gone before anyone was able to get a picture of the bar set up.

In the middle of the evening I surprised Tony with a s'mores station. There wasn't anything left by the end of the night.
