 Knotties!!

I have officially started my own business making invitations, save the dates, and other paper creations for weddings, showers, etc...  I am so excited!! Here is a link to my company website! Please check it out and tell your friends if you like what you see!  It's obviously brand new, but I love creating invitations and such and am hoping for the opportunity to help others out as well.

Thanks girls and happy planning!

For those of you who have asked, my flowers were arranged by a family friend, but I actually found them and bought them from Wal-Mart! They're silk peonies and are still just as beautiful sitting on my bookshelf as they were that day! I love them.

Poor little RB was not having a very good day, but I absolutely love this picture of the two of them!!

This one is my favorite! I love DH's face for the first time and my brother peaking from around the rest of the groomsmen to see!

Dress: J. Andrew's Bridal in Peachtree City
This is where I actually got my wedding dress.  The ladies here are all so sweet and helpful.  The lady who does the alterations was awesome! I was nervous because of the style of my dress and how she would him it up and do the bustle, but she did an amazing job and it didn't cost a fortune! Definitely worth the drive if you don't live in the area!

Bridesmaid Dresses: Formally Yours Bridal in Lilburn
A+++
Kathy, the owner, is wonderful! They have an amazing selection of dresses and are so great to work with.  It is hit and miss, though, with the employees.  Most are really helpful but one the younger girls is not so much and acts really annoyed if you ask her anything, but just look for someone else to help you because it really is a great place.  All but one of my bridesmaids lived out of the area, two of which lived out of state, and they had no trouble with sizing and ordering their dresses.

Ceremony: Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer in Snellville
This is my parents' church and the one I grew up in, so it's like home. The center isle is really short so I decided to use the side isle as the main one and it worked out nicely.
Reception: First United Methodist of Snellville
A+
Beautiful church! This is my grandfather's church and absolutely beautiful. The sanctuary is amazing, but since we already had a place for the ceremony, we just needed a reception hall large enough for 350 people! It wasn't crowded and wasn't already decorated or anything, so we got to fix it up how we liked!

Rehearsal: Maggiano's Little Italy at Perimeter Mall
A+++++
They were wonderful! Of course the food was incredible and there was way more than we could have possibly eaten.  We had a room upstairs and it was really nice because we couldn't hear noise from anywhere else in the restaurant and we didn't have to worry about bothering anyone else either! Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere.  I definitely recommend to anyone who's considering it!

Flowers:
I had a friend of the family arrange them for me, but the flowers were purchased from WalMart, Garden Ridge, and Michaels.  I absolutely loved them!  They were silk and no one could tell! They're still sitting on my bookshelf and look just as beautiful as they did then!

Cake: Eileen Carter, aka: "The Cake Lady"
A+++++++
Eileen was wonderful! Everyone loved the cakes.  They looked beautiful and were so good! She is really sweet and will sit down with you and make sure she knows exactly what you want before she agrees to do your cake.  She came to drop it off and then came back to pack it up at the end of the reception.

Photography & DJ: Orpheus and Aphrodite Music & Photography
A++++
Terrilyn (photographer) was amazing! All of the pictures she took were wonderful! She also gave us a DVD sideshow of most of the images to music that we chose and it was so great!! The albums she does are wonderful and I love that she does black and white and then paints the color back into some places.  She is such a sweetheart and I couldn't have been happier with all of the pictures she took! Chris (her husband) was our DJ.  They work together and you get a discount if you book both of them.  He's great.  He requests a list of all the songs you want played and those that you don't want played so he doesn't play something you don't like.  He wasn't obnoxious at all, sometimes I didn't even realize he was there.  He was nice, though, and helped to announce when we were cutting the cake, tossing the bouquet and garter, etc...
