I changed my planning bio from Jules5/27/07 to this name because the slashes were extremely annoying and I love The Wedding Singer:) Still the same planning bio and I'll try to respond to pages to my other name

Nate proposed on March 26, 2006 by tying the ring and two pink flowers around my puppy's neck. We've been dating for nearly 5 years and I'm so excited to finally plan our wedding in Saint Louis, MO.

Our Rehearsal dinner site: The Tap Room. It's where our first date was and they have the BEST food and Schlafly beer.

Our Ceremony site: Randall Gallery. I love the candelabras but I'll do it a bit differently.

Our save the date postcards from VistaPrint. Stupid shutterfly cut off most of the text here: it said "save the date" then "5/27/07" and at the bottom it had our names

We will do a cookie buffet full of cookies from our family! Yummy.

My table numbers! I got the idea from knottie squashedrice, but made it more "me" with the little easles, pink and green paper, and the font used on our invites.

Up close: I tried to keep it simple and it still took days to make these. Gathering the pictures was the best part, and of course the early years are always the cutest.

Monique L'huillier "Miranda"--doesn't it make you think of Sex and the City??

The veil I got for $12 from ebay seller Valuveil (definitely NOT my best pic) before the veil makeover...

...And the veil after the makeover---bought alencon lace from sposabellalace.com and mom sewed it on. Not bad for $130!

My Blue Tux shoes, called "Sherri". They are so comfortable and the blue sole is adorable.

DIY hairflower my mom made out of her 32 year old veil, and my great-grandmother's jewelry (can't see them in the middle). We may go bigger than this one. Love my "something old."

I have finally decided on celery green bridesmaid dresses from Aria with a petal pink double hem.

MY E-RING!! Love the baguettes, I admit--I helped pick it out:)

My two bands I'll wear by themselves a lot.

All of the rings together. The top band won't have such a big gap once they are fitted correctly.

Jeff City shower: Ah the joy of cooking, and do you see my dyson vacuum in the background?

My aunt, my cousin, Me, my mom, and my grandma. We are an abnormally tall family: everyone is over 5'9" including my 75 year old grandma!

My girls (all of whom are in the wedding) took me out for a farewell dinner the week of the wedding.

Why not make life even MORE stressful and decide to move out of the state 2 days after the wedding? Henry is not so happy about the decision.

Ceremony Location - Randall Gallery

I love this place. The owner, Mark, has been doing special events here for 25 years and he really knows what he's doing. I'm counting on him to be a pseudo-planner for me.

Officiant - My Grandpa

He married my mom and all of my aunts---and they're still married:) He's absolutely adorable, too.

Reception Location - Randall Gallery

Again, couldn't ask for more here. They have their own kitchen and their food rocks. They also supply all tables, chairs, linens, booze, etc.

Cake Creator - The Cakery

Mmmmm, this is the best cake we've ever tasted and Erica is an absolute doll. I'm hoping we have lots leftover because I'm obsessed with this bakery.

Florist - Sister's flowers

I really hit it off with Emily and she seemed excited about working with us. She's already had some great ideas and I'm looking forward to working with her.

Photographer - Michael Browers

I love this guy! He moved to St. Louis from Hawaii, where he was a popular photographer. Now he and his wife are getting started in St. Louis. They are the most genuine, excited, and talented people around. You get unlimited hours, shots and two photographers in every package.

Videographer - My Aunt Dana

She is a professional photographer and is really excited to shoot our wedding!

Disc Jockey - Jimmy Hussey

Tons of experience, very personable, and wants to please his clients. Plus he's highly recommended by knotties:)

Transportation - Kelly's Limos

Their trolley was a LOT more affordable than some other vendors. I think I'm getting a non-saturday discount:)

Invitations - Dickey design

Ame is a fabulous designer. She has been incredibly fun to work with and very prompt with all emails, which is greatly appreciated. She makes me very glad I opted not to do DIY invites.

Jeweler - Michael Genovese Fine Diamonds and Jewelry

This place is a great local jeweler. I'm told you can even borrow wedding day jewelry for free!

Tuxedos - Mens Wearhouse

So far so good, but with 12 tux rentals I'm a little nervous about how it will all turn out.

My Dress - Preowned wedding dresses website

I found my DREAM dress on this site, sold by none other than a fellow knottie: jewellk. It was a very easy transaction, and she was wonderful to work with. Plus, I sold my first dress on this site in a little over a week.

Bridesmaid Dresses - Aria

I love these dresses but I'm still a bit nervous because there isn't a store nearby. One of my bridesmaids lives close to the D.C. store so she went and took a ton of pictures for us.

Hair Stylist - Danielle Erb

I decided to go with the best in the buisness. I am so excited.

Makeup Artist - Danielle Erb

Honeymoon Destination - Ti Kaye in St. Lucia

Possibly the cutest little Caribbean resort ever! FI and I have never been on vacation together, so we are going all out and staying for 7 nights at Ti Kaye. I plan on having a drink in one hand and a book in the other the entire time.

Travel Agent - Jennifer Byrne

Extremely helpful, very quick to respond by email with multiple options and ideas. She's a St. Lucia expert and has been great to work with so far.

Other Vendor - Exclusive Events Inc.

This vendor was recommended to me by knottie Tinlizzy when she saw my picture of the altar I want. Erin is the owner and she's been doing lighting and fabric creations for a long time...she even worked at Disney! I am so excited to see her pull off the fabric lighted archway.

Other Vendor - OOT Hotel

The Hilton at the Ballpark just underwent 16 million in renovations and it's really cute. We blocked rooms for our guests and I'm going to get a suite for the "morning of beauty" I have planned with the bridesmaids and moms. They gave us an unbeatable rate for the rooms, after a little negotiating on my part.
