Our wedding day was the best day of our lives. Everything was perfect-I can't think of too much I would change about the day (maybe just AC at the reception). Special props to my Mom and Dad for all that they did. The wedding wouldn't have been so incredible without their work. And lucky me, my husband survived the planning too!

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.
Love this idea for messages from the guests. Thanks ninah148! I am putting togethera DIY envelope guest book, idea compliments of Martha Stewart...Picture soon to come!
My card box made by my Dad! Perfect for the Adirondacks
A quick view of our table setting. A few things will be different but you get the idea!
My Mom is also doing the centerpieces herself. Here aresome of the ideas:
The one with the blue in the vase is the one we're going to be using. The calla lilies are going to be the ones shown above with the brown center. The picture next to it is my dream bouquet, it will have a combo of the cream lilies & the ones with the brown center. The centerpiece ideas are all done by my Mom, isn't she creative!!!
This is my DIY version of my invite. I'm sure you've all seen this one before-usually with beads on a string wrapped around. Well we're saving ourselves money and making our own. Thanks Mom!
This is our "Save the Date" packet. I'll be sending these out in a couple months! Another DIY since the wedding is a destinationwedding for nearly everyone I want to make sure they can plantheir vacation and they feel like they know what's going on. In it wehave travel, hotel, things to do, and a stay in touch card. Completed with an "official save the date" and our Knot wedding website!
The basket above is going to hold our programs before the ceremony. In the second picture is our closed invitation (in the back) as well as the save the date. The picture directly above has the invitation opened up as well as the program. In the back of the picture.
Ideas for favors, boxes from Sophie's Favors. Plan to stack smaller box on top of a larger one and then use them as the place cards. Will have a pine cone candle made by my grandma in large box and some kind of candy in the smaller box. Tied off with a white ribbon.
This is pretty close to my ring! FI designed my ring setting and picked out the diamond himself. It is a Platinum band in a Veragio style setting. Love it. Also got our wedding bands. His from Kay Jeweler and mine from Zales. So excited to find them!
Mints my mom made in Tiffany Blue!!!
Bridesmaid Dress
Bridesmaid dress, done by my Mom...She's making all of them in the perfect TB color! The second picture has the look of the pearls that I want. Found the pearls at Forever 21 for only $13!! Last picture is actually a bridesmaid with the necklace & shoes!
The shoes I'm planning on wearing...Steve Madden Kisses.
This is the look for the groomsmen. FI will have a Tiffany Blue tie and each groomsman will have a little tiffany blue coming out of the pocket.
Here are letters my Mom found, not sure where we'll put them. My version of the seating chart!
Also a rave for Nicole Nichols...She made these awesome bags for me! I would recommend anyone to her. 100% satisfaction
These are the welcome bags that my Maid of Honor and myself painted. We have a tiffany blue lining for the insides of them. In it will be a balsam pine bag (pictured above) that I'm putting together as well as maple syrup from my Dad's farm (also pictured).
This will be the transportation from the ceremony to the reception site. After all the guests arrive the wedding party will have some picturestaken on the trolley!
OUR VENUE:
We have found a wonderful site. The ballroom is great, when I get pictures I will post. This is what is said of the hotel on their site. "Make it an historical event … stay at the Adirondacks grandest hotel (circa 1907). Your hosts, the Seggers, provide personalized customer service and ensure a unique experience. A wonderful veranda to sit and relax on. Great Lobby with fireplace & an on-site restaurant. Walk to everything. Golf Packages & group discounts available. Kitchenettes, Jacuzzis & Suite Options".
This is the great room with fireplace and lots of seating. Next to it a flower arrangement that my Mom made to put inside the great room.
This is the veranda where we will have a cocktail hour. Thebest part about this is if it's raining no one will get wet!
Here's some pictures of friends, family and FI
I love this dress more than anything...and the fact that its the "Olympia"dress is even more fitting since I'm getting married in the OlympicVillage!!! [back of dress from Jessis62781]
I got a Penn State & Notre Dame garter from TheGarterMaker, but I don't know if my FI or I could part with it at the end of the night!
Thanks for visiting my bio! I am on the Washington, D.C. and the Upstate NY boards feel free to page me with questions!!
