AHHHH! I'm MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!! In one word - AMAZING! We were married in a destination wedding in the beautiful city of Negril, Jamaica at the fabulous boutique resort The Rockhouse Hotel. We then spent 14 days traveling around French Polynesia and all in all had the best month of our lives. What a way to start a life together!! Now if I only didn’t have to return to work….

WEDDING DAY!

Honeymoon!!!!!
We spent 14 days in beautiful French Polynesia(Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine and Bora Bora). It was the most beautiful and amazing place we've ever been and I cant recommend the resorts we stayed at or our travel agent enough. They made our trip flawless and unforgettable. Love them all!!!!! Bora Bora - Hotel Bora Bora, Huahine - Te Tiare, Moorea - Sheraton. Travel agent: www.flytahiti.com

Gorgeous Bora Bora - the last vision that will pass through my mind on my death bed. It is truly paradise.
Scuba diving - it was a rough start but we are officially certified! And we only almost died once. Next is my fav pic from the trip - Dave shot this outside our bungalow in Bora Bora on our first day.

shark!

mmmmmm beer

The pearl farm made Dave carve a design into a pearl b/c they found out he was a dentist and I guess they use dental tools. They were so intrigued. :)

The beautiful Sheraton Moorea

Huahine!

Review:
What can I say - if you are lucky enough to make it to French Polynesia then you'll experience one of the most beautiful places in the world. I did a ton of research on prices, hotels, flights, excursions, restaurants, etc and I'm so glad I did b/c we really had the most amazing trip.

ITINERARY: 14 days in French Polynesia
- overnight flight from LA to Papeete(highly recommend doing) on Air New Zealand
- 6 nights in Moorea, at the Sheraton in a garden bungalow
- 3 nights in Huahine at Te Tiare in an OWB
- 3 nights in Bora Bora at Hotel Bora Bora in a beach bungalow

We highly recommend all 3 resorts and islands. We loved staying in different room categories on each island b/c it gave us variety and broke up our trip a bit. We wouldnt change a thing if we could go back, but if we ever go back agan the one island we will definitely return to is Bora Bora.

Excursions and Restaurants:

-Moorea:
Excursion - we did the 4x4 jeep tour which stops by the juice factory. Loved it!
Restaurants - highly recommend all of these: Le Patio, Alfredos, Aito, Te Honu Iti

Huahine:

Excursions - we rented a scooter and drove around the island - HIGHLY recommend doing this, this was one of our favorite events.
Restaurants - luckily Te Tiare has the best food in Huahine and some of the best food we had in all of FP! We ate here almost exclusively, but we did stop at the grocery store on the main island and got some snacks and bread/cheese/beer. Mmmm :)

Bora Bora
Excursions - we loved loved loved our tour with Filipe. He took us on the shark/ray feeding and motu picnic/snorkling in coral gardens. These are normally 2 different excursions but Hotel Bora Bora arranged for us to do a private tour with him (for the public rate - yeah!!) and he did both in 1 day. It was awesome. We also did a sunset cruise which was included in our HM package at HBB
restaurants: we we lucky enough to stay at HBB, which had the best food we ate in all of FP....so we stayed here a lot. We did manage to get the top table at La Villa Mahana and ate there one night, and it was fabulous as well. But I thought the food at HBB was equally good if not better.

This was a trip of a lifetime and I cant imagine a better trip for your honeymoon. We will always remember those 2 weeks as the most romantic of our lives!!!! Have fun and page me if you have questions!!

REVIEW!!
Rockhouse Hotel A+ The resort is gorgeous, staff is amazing, the wedding coordinator Inise is so sweet and helpful, rooms are great , food is the best on the island IMO, and yet the whole place is still affordible! Listed in the world's 1000 places to see before you die book, the Rockhouse is truly a dream place to have a wedding. All our guests enjoyed it, several already booked trips back and we had everything go right during our week. I cant recommend them enough. www.rockhousehotel.com

Ipod DJ A+ Ok I cant really rate this(even though I am) b/c I made our playlist - and of course I love my own taste in music...but we used an ipod for our music - hooked up to DJ's speakers(and a DJ who monitored the whole thing). We saved a ton of money going this route, and all our guests raved about the music. I've even sent the playlist to several friends b/c they want to use it for their parties or weddings. Awesome!!

Floral Fantasies A I loved our flowers - they were so beautiful, held up all night and were put together so well. Rosemarie is so great to work with - she deals over email and is always quick to get back to you. She provided the hair flowers, boquets, table arrangements and ceremony set up. When I walked up the aisle I of course saw my soon to be hubby but my eyes were drawn to the decorations - so they must have been good! :) www.floralfantasiesjamaica.com

Linda Wallace A+ I feel so lucky that we found Linda and convinced her to come spend 3 days with our crazy friends and family. Her and her husband came to Jamaica and were truly such a joy to be around. They totally fit in with our friends and I was so happy to have her calming and professional personality around my psycho self on my wedding day. Of course her pictures speak for themselves - I couldnt be happier with her and she was by far the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. www.lindawallacephotography.com

Honeymoon Travel Agent A+ Our honeymoon was the best 2 weeks of our lives - we had such an amazing time soaking in the beauty of French Polynesia. Our travel agent was amazing as well - not only did he constantly get me excited about our upcoming trip with phone calls, etc - but he got us a great deal on our trip, organized everything flawlessly, got us the best rooms at each resort and the best seats at the most popular restaurants...he rocks. I wholeheartedly recommend him to ANYONE interested in FP. One conversation with him and you'll be hooked. www.flytahiti.com

Wedding gown - Watters & Watters, style 5299 Not sure how you rate a wedding gown, but I loved mine! I ordered a 'bridesmaid gown' from W&W through an Indianapolis boutique called Nancy's Bridal. The gown came in within 1 month(amazing), and then I went to Joyce in Carmel, IN to have her alter the neckline into a sweetheart style, hem and sew a sash on the gown. Sash was from www.romanticflowers.com. I loved my gown and love the fact it cost under 400$ with alterations. Score! www.watters.com

Other attire We purchased Dave's suit from banana republic, the tie is Calvin Klein, and shoes were Alfani. I made the shell bouts with supplies all from Michaels. Bridesmaids and groomsman wore clothes all from JCrew. Sashes for bridesmaids were from www.mjtrim.com

Website(weddingwindow) A+ We loved our website! Very easy to use and our guests loved it. No complaints here! They also accepted an expired coupon I found on the web. Yeah!
