Italianabella's Married Bio!

We had a beautiful day and could not have asked for anything better. Everything went absolutely smoothly, except for my not-so-smooth fall nearly two hours before the ceremony, but it wouldn't have been my wedding unless I fell. My bridesmaids and wonderful photographer took very good care of me, bandaged me up and sent me off to get married! Thank you to all knotties for ideas and help over the past couple years. Cake Creator - Eileen Carter - The Cake Lady

Eileen was such a pleasure to work with. She is super sweet, extremely talented, always has a positive attitude about everything and her cakes are AMAZING! They taste wonderful and the designs are incredible! We had a 4 tier, one fake layer, with white and chocolate cake with Bailey's Irish Creme and Chocoloate Mousse fillings. Towards the end, I found out that my guest count was much lower we than anticipated, I contacted Eileen in a panic wondering what we were going to do. She was so helpful, we went over my options and chose what was best. I had already paid her final amount, so she just reimbursed me the unused portion. I'm not a cake lover, but Eileen's cakes are so good. I will definitely be using her in the future.

Florist - KaBloom of Sandy Springs

We worked with Marianne, the owner. She is a great person to work with and very patient. I'm not a big flower person and don't know much, but she certainly helped point out what I was looking for. She brought all my ideas to life. My bouquet was beautiful and just what I wanted.

Photographer - 35 Atlanta, Ray and Erica Tisdale

Words can't express how wonderful these two are and how beautiful my pictures came out! The day of, Ray, Erica, and their assistant Amber, were right on schedule and kept up with the timeline. They were so much to be around, keeping us laughing, especially after my fall. Erica helped bustle my dress after the ceremony since no one else was around. And I trusted her to lay in CLOVERS for pictures, something I totally would not have done, but those pictures came out beautiful and my dress was still clean when I got up. While they didn't catch some things I would have like them to get (that I of course didn't notice til later), they caught the most amazing images that I would have never thought to catch which totally made up for it. They are on the higher end of Atlanta photography, but worth every last penny! Fabulous to work with, extremely talented and gorgeous pictures ... what more can you ask for?

Videographer - LongRange Video Productions

I think this is one of the most important vendors next to the photographer. Photographers capture still images, images that last forever. But, when you go through your day, nervous, anxious, happy ... you don't remember much. I viewed many demo's before I even knew LongRange existed and they just weren't what I was looking for, either they were too expensive, or they lacked video quality. Just when I was going to settle for less, I found LRP. Their demo was better than the bunch I had seen (and I saw ALOT). When I got my pictures back, I was extremely happy with them, but with most pictures ... I thought to myself ... hmmm, I don't remember this or that. When I saw the video, it let me see my wedding from an outsider's perspective. You get to see everything that was going on when you weren't around and helps you remember your day much better. I know alot of people are on the fence about videography. Of course we won't watch the video a billion times, but it's always good to have to remember that wonderful time in your life. They were so good to work with the day of, having both cameras really captured a lot and different points of view. They created a montage to show at the wedding and it was beautiful, our guests loved it! They are very budget friendly, responsive, easy to work with and extremely unobtrusive. I barely recognized them all night, yet, they captured everything I wanted to see! The content and quality of my video was absolutely AMAZING, I am so happy that I chose LRP.

Disc Jockey - Complete Music - Rich Moran

Rich was great to work with. Very responsive to my e-mails and questions. I was hesitant at first because I heard so many people had bad experiences with them. They are very pushy for their deposit in the beginning which almost makes you want to not use them, but, that's sales. I confirmed with Rich several times that he WOULD be my Dj and he was. We met a couple weeks before the wedding and went over everything, he helped me pick out a few songs and helped with coordinating the reception entrances. The day of, he kept with our very regimented timeline. I just wish I hadn't done so many ice breakers and had more songs that I wanted to hear, but that was my fault, not his. But, he did a great job with everything.

Transportation - All Executive Limos and Rainbow Limos

We used All Executive for my Bachelorette party and transportation to the ceremony/reception venue. I was not all that impressed with their service. I communicated with the owner via e-mail to confirm several times and it seemed as though we were never on the same page. He lost one of my e-mails with ALL the details for the weekend. He contacted me via TEXT MESSAGE not phone asking me to email him the information. I found that very unprofessional. I had no access to e-mails all weekend, so I had to stop my busy wedding weekend schedule to run to my house and e-mail him the details again. The night of my Bachelorette party, the driver got lost and had no GPS. I relied on him to know where we were going, because it was confirmed that he knew and he still had no idea. We used them for our transportation to the ceremony as well. Because of my fall, I forgot to pay him. The driver called my cell phone the night of the wedding at midnight looking for his money. While I understand he needs to be paid, I thought he could have waited until the morning or contacted my mother. Overall, I wasn't too pleased with this company. Rainbow Limo's/Transportation, we used for our wedding departure. They were on-time and extremely professional. They left me a voicemail earlier in the evening explaining that they had a change of drivers, but would still be there on time.

Invitations - Invites All About Paper - Marietta, Georgia

They were great to work with. They sat down with me and went through books and helped me find invites that were within my small budget. I ordered on a Sunday, the proof was in on Monday and I had my invitations the following week. I was very impressed!

Rental Company - At Your Service

We rented white ceremony chairs from them. Although I didn't get to formally meet Ron and Lorraine. They were a pleasure to work with and very reasonbly priced!

Jeweler - Kay's - Northpoint

We use Kay's for all of our jewelry needs. The manager, John at the NP location is very helpful and great to work with!

Tuxedos - Savvi Northpoint

I worked with Sarah and she was absolutely wonderful! We didn't really have any major issues. Hubs had a slight problem with the size on his tux, they fixed it and had it ready for him the next day. With the exception of some buttons and cufflinks falling off before the ceremony, which were sewed back on by my wonderful coordinator, everything was great.

My Dress - Formally Yours - Lilburn, Georgia

They were very helpful on my first visit. I really liked their first time visitor's incentive where you buy on your first day and pay in full and you receive a discount. However, when I went back for fittings, it always seemed that they were always busy with other people and I was always waiting. It's just a small shop and not all the girls can be in one spot. I think it would be helpful if Bride's were appt. based and had one person to help them during their process. Overall, the service was pretty good.

Bridesmaid Dresses - Alfred Angelo - Deerfield Beach, Fl

Great service.

Hair Stylist - Shear Elegance (Alison) - Woodstock, Georgia

Alison is my regular hairstylist who did my wedding hair. I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she created it. We had a trial beforehand and it looked great as well. A couple days before the wedding, I thought about changing my style. Alison gladly showed me somewhat of how it would look and the kind of work it would take. I quickly changed my mind! They did all my bridesmaids, mother and grandmother's hair. I was very pleased!

Makeup Artist - Bella Cosmetics - Donna

I waited last minute to find a makeup artist because I wanted several trials to decide from. I had three trials all together. The first two were complete duds. When I was in search for a new artist, my friend told me she did bridal makeup. I had no idea. We scheduled a trial and it was WONDERFUL! I was sooo happy that I finally found what I liked. I felt like a princess the day of.

Wedding Coordinator - Ally Haggerty with Unforgettable Soirees

I wasn't planning on having a coordinator, I thought I could do it all my self, and I did most of my planning on my own. I just needed someone to make sure my day went smoothly. Upon my first meeting with Ally, she asked so many questions and raised so many points that I just did not think about. It was then that I realized, I made the best decision in my planning to have her. She helped with a few vendor recommendations that I needed towards the end, but mainly she was my lifesaver the day of! She took care of everything that I didn't need to do. I had a venue coordinator that I wasn't comfortable with from day one. I told Ally all my visions and she made sure it was done and that we ran right on time. We followed the timeline precisely. She is so sweet and pays great attention to detail. She held a high level of professionalism the entire day, even throughout the most trying times :) Ally was the best money I spent for the entire day!

Other Vendor - Chair Covers and Linens

My wedding was the second time I had worked with Chair Covers and Linens. I worked with AnDrew both times and he was fabulous to work with!

Other Vendor - Rehearsal Dinner - Smoke Jack BBQ, Alpharetta, Georgia

This is upscale BBQ. I was extremely hesitant about BBQ for a RD, but we found this wonderful place with a private room and AMAZING FOOD! We worked with Dave, the owner -- and he was great. I highly recommend checking into them.
