Melissast Wedding Bio

It is hard to beleive that all of the wedding planning is over with. My husband and I got Married in New Orleans on November 3rd 2007. Our ceremony was at St.Marys Assumption, and the reception was at the Sheraton on Canal in the Waterbury ballroom. The theme that I wanted through out the night was an elegant but dramatic event. I also wanted to make sure that new orleans was incorporated but not over done. I spent A LOT of time on little details. I made sure that not every table had a tall floral centerpiece because I didnt want my guest to be blinded while trying to see the dance floor so instead everyother table had tall centerpieces and the other tables had fresh rose petals and glass bowls with floating candles.

the start of the Second Line we ended the night with the traditional New Orleans second line. We started in the ballroom and the band followed us down the escalator out the front door to our carriage that brought us around the french quarter and let us reflect on the night. It was wonderful

For our Honeymoon we went to St.Martaan and Anguilla. We spent 6 days at the Westin in St.Martaan and 7 days at the Frangipani in Anguilla. We had to fly to Newyork before heading to the Caribbean so we decided to stay the night. Everything was wonderful!
