Getting Ready

Something Borrowed: a butterfly clip that both my sister and my cousin wore in their weddings...

My girls were hot, in so many ways...

The cutest baby on earth - my 9mo old nephew, Mason:

The Little Details

The First Look

My Divas

All of us

I like boys... all boys... Big and small. hehe

Just the Two of Us

Me loves me some dimples!!

The Ceremony

As guests waited for the ceremony to start,
they were able to watch a slideshow of pictures of us growing up and then together as a couple...

Our rose ceremony:

It's official! Thanks Rev. Ray!

The Reception

Everyone thought it was fun that you COULD drink out of the centerpieces

Taking a few moments alone

First dance

Cake cutting
The GMs got Andy a sword as a gift and had presented it to him before the ceremony.
Andy decided he wanted to use the sword to cut the cake. *rolling eyes*

After all the toasts, dances and cake, a few of my girlfriends got into a circle with me
and told me how much they loved me. It was so touching. I love my girls!

Around 11:30pm, the DJ announced that "the Bride and Groom" need to proceed to the front of the venue.
It was time to leave. Dang it, I wasn't done yet!

My mom went out in socks. No shoes. Just socks. Classy mom. Classy. lol

;

So out we came...

And to our surprise, my parents had rented a chauffeur-driven town car for our little jaunt to the hotel!

It was hands-down the best night of my life (so far anyway).
And quite the celebration.

Our Thank You cards...

Engagement Details: September 18th, 2005

We were on a ride at the Puyallup Fair when Andy grabbed my hand and said something like "Your hand looks a little naked, will you marry me?" hehe, it was cute - his face was bright red, I could tell he was a bit nervous... although I don't quite remember all of the exact details because I was so completely surprised. Of course I said yes and now we're planning our Big Day!

Engagement announcement in the Woodinville Weekly:

The Lake Union Cafe - I love love love our venue!!

I love that it has all of these booths, lining both walls.

When you first walk into the LUC, there's a small "lounge" area with a bar and fireplace. Soooo swanky!

View of the dance floor. The ceremony takes place on the stage at the far end of the floor.

This is so "us" - Andy's 6yr old niece Kenya is going to read it during the ceremony. She loves to read (YES - AT AGE SIX!!) and is more articulate than some adults I know. We have one smart cookie in the family!

"Falling in Love is Like Owning a Dog" by Taylor Mali

First of all, it's a big responsibility,
So think long and hard before deciding on love.
On the other hand, love gives you a sense of security:
when you're walking down the street late at night
and you have a leash on love
ain't no one going to mess with you.

On cold winter nights, love is warm.
It lies between you and lives and breathes
and makes funny noises.
Love wakes you up all hours of the night with its needs.
It needs to be fed so it will grow and stay healthy.

Love doesn't like being left alone for long.
But come home and love is always happy to see you.

Is love good all the time? No! No!
Love can be bad. Bad, love, bad! Very bad love.

Love makes messes.
Love leaves you little surprises here and there.
Love needs lots of cleaning up after.

But most of all, love needs love, lots of it.
And in return, love loves you and never stops.

My chandeliers to hang near the dance floor:

Beautiful black linens (thanks twostepper32) with gorgeous centerpieces

There are wrought iron banisters lining the dance floor, I think that draping pearls would be so pretty:

Saw this centerpiece at a local wedding show, it was so unbelievably GORGEOUS!

Ice Punch Bowl - soooo pretty!

The design of our cake really was an obsession of mine..
It will be champagne flavored cake and filling.
Three tiers, square - round - square, we will also have a sheet cake in the back.

Some cute napkin ideas. In pink and black, of course.

Here are some that we'll use as cocktail napkins at the bar and guest towels in the bathroom.
Yeah, I went a little overboard - but at least I didn't buy any monogrammed toilet paper!!!

I'll use these in the restrooms, for hand towels.

I want a big white flowing bouquet of roses.

This is what happens to us Knotties after several hours of wedding over-stimulation. We got out of the photobooth after the first picture, not sure what we were thinking. So the guy that was running the booth, let us re-take our pictures. It was just too funny. Miss Blush (Coreen) and me>

Strangest sighting... Could you imagine wearing this down the aisle??? Could you imagine what your bridesmaids would say if you asked THEM to wear it down the aisle? Is this Seattle Couture?
