About Us

We are in love and have officially pinky-swore to stay that way for a very long time.

Angi is a brillant artist. Please go drool over her work at www.angigrow.com.

Sarah is a perpetual student and arts appreciator.

We live together with our black cat Luka in a small bungalow in Boise.

We left our home in Boise on February 15th and stayed in Seattle for a night before taking a few ferries to B.C. Once in Victoria, we got our marriage license and checked into the bed and breakfast. Friday was spent touring downtown and going to watch the Victoria Salmon Kings. Our wedding ceremony took place at 2 in the afternoon, Saturday, February 17th. On Sunday we visited the art galleries, Butchart gardens, and the Royal BC Museum. Everyone in Victoria was gracious and made us feel so welcomed.

In Victoria, the dear Joyce and Peter Such hosted us at the Earle Clarke House. The baronial 1911 mansion has been featured on both the Art Gallery's House Tour and the Land Conservancy's Heritage House Tour. Built by local sculptor Earle Clarke, a contemporary of renowned painter Emily Carr, this residence is at the center of Victoria's vibrant cultural life. Joyce is an internationally exhibited artist and gourmet cook. Peter is a novelist, screen writer, dramatist and retired Professor Emeritus. The wedding ceremony was Saturday afternoon. Our photographer Gary McKinstry did a wonderful job capturing our vows and put us at ease. After the ceremony, we celebrated with delicious cake and champagne and went to dinner at Zambri's, a traditional Italian restaurant and part of the slow-food movement. Our wedding day ended with a trip to the Pacific Opera Victoria for the Canadian premiere of Strauss' Daphne.

Our reception was held in the loft of Boise Contemporary Theater March 10th. We wore our kicks and threads again and hosted 50 friends for food, booze, and crazy dancing. It was wonderful to celebrate back home.
