How We Met
The Proposal Story
Tuesday, July 25, 2006: The boy takes me to dinner in Corona del Mar to celebrate a recent promotion. We each start with a wine tasting trio sampler and laugh out loud when 6 glasses arrive at our little table for two. Amazing seafood dinner. Dessert of green tea pana cotta with pistachios and mountain huckleberries. The boy suggests we go for a walk. We hop in his car and end up in Laguna Beach. We stroll hand in hand in the night and end up in the same gazebo we stopped to take pictures at on our first motorcycle ride together. We enjoy our time together, the perfect summer evening, the dark ocean waves crashing on the rocks below us. Then the boy turns to me and says, "I actually brought you here for a reason." Then gets down on one knee, opens a little ring box, and asks me to marry him.
Monique Lhuillier – Confetti Bustier & Coco Skirt w/ Gold Sash
I got to see and try on my dress for the first time today! I love it SO much!
Side view with veil.
Side view without the veil.
Back view with 100" cut edge veil.
French bustles for my dress!
Our Big Day Shoes
Jimmy Choo's for me. Salvatore Ferragamo's for him.
I'm having Candi make me a single tier cathedral length veil in Diamond White.
Photo courtesy of the beautiful HNN. My hair + veil placement will be similar.
Getting the wrinkles out since I had Candi ship my veil to me.
Large single bloom for my hair
My Hair Flower. I'm still undecided on whether to wear the flower the entire time or to place it in my hair once I remove my veil.
Regina B Bracelet
The bracelet was too big when I got it so I sent it back and Regina had some links removed.
It now fits perfectly.
Brooch for Sash
Wedding Day Purse
I'm using this as my wedding day clutch. It's something I've had. I'm just so tired of spending $$$ on the wedding. I swear it has a life of its own.
His Wedding Band
His is all Platinum. Milgrain 6mm wedding band from Tiffany's.
My Wedding Band
Platinum shared prong full eternity band purchased from www.signedpieces.com.
Half up and wavy? All down and wavy? All up?
I love ZZY’s makeup in this picture!
I also like how my makeup looked for my epics!
Design Visage Hair + Makeup Trial
I think I prefer it up and with a single large bloom in my hair.
Not sure if I should keep the messy updo or else have them do something cleaner like the hair on MrsRobsButton or KayRose.
The Qi Pao (prior to alterations) my FMIL bought for me. I might have the clasps changed to something dressier. I was thinking about changing into this dress to greet his side of the family. And then change into a Korean Hanbok to greet my side of the family at the reception.
pinned for another round of alterations.
Shoes to go with Qi Pao
Similar to the shoes I already own that I'll be wearing with my Qi Pao.
I'll be renting a 7 piece hanbok to change into at the reception.
Pick up the Wednesday before the wedding with a $200 deposit.
Return on Sunday and deposit will be returned.

The final product! We did a test run (50 prints) last night of our save the dates and they came out so cute!!!
Save The Dates Envelopes
The mailing label I designed for our save the date envelopes.
I finally got around to designing my wedding invitations and I have to say that I LOVE how they turned out!
I plan to use my goco to print/silk screen them.

You can see the map/direction/accommodations card we made here.
I printed those on the inkjet to save time + effort.
Initials for Ceremony
DIY Initials for our ceremony + reception location. My fiance asked, "Can't you do my initial in a manly color? Like blue?" I said, "Our colors are pink and brown." "Ok, make my letter brown then." "Hun, brown flowers are dead flowers." ".... Haha, you're so funny!"
Four tier wedding cake from Great Dane.

DIY Ring Pillow
Too cute to pass up on this ring pillow idea! I'm making ours light pink.
My attempt at the MS knit ring pillow.
Not too shabby considering I had to re-teach myself how to knit!
Purchased on ebay
I just realized that a ruffle butt panty won't work with my qi pao. =(
I think they came out pretty darn cute!
I punched butterflies from the scraps leftover from lining the envelopes.
Then sewed those to the card stock.
Used the motif from our invitations to create our escort cards.

Honeymoon - Thalasso Spa Resort in Bora Bora
We can't wait to get away for our honeymoon!
Bachelorette Party Pictures!
First they treated me to a massage at Ole Henriksen. Sorry, no face pics after the massages/facials. Not a pretty sight.
Then they treated me to an AMAZING dinner at AOC
Trouble x's 6
Then front row seats at Hollywood Men where they handed me a 2" stack of $1 bills and told me not to spend it all on one man. Haha, sorry no incriminating pics of that! The group of girls at the table next to ours actually told me that I needed to share the men. Whatever!
Then we drank and danced the night away or until a couple of the girls were out of commission. +P
Four of us crashed at The Orlando Hotel in Beverly Hills and had brunch the next day. The other 2 braved it all the way back to OC.
The Bridal Party
Me and my Matron of Honor at Lanikai Beach earlier this year! She's the sister I never had...
Someone I can always go and tell everything to and she will always support me without reservation or judgement.
My soon to be sister!
My fiance's little sister! We talk everyday and get along SO well, I feel really blessed to be so close with my future family.
We always have so much fun together! We went to go visit my fireman friend at the station and the guys let us run wild....trying on their clothes, climbing on their trucks, taking tons of pics... so much fun!
