Sorry for the horrible hand picture... I had an owie on my finger :-(
The ring came from Kays....surprisingly! All the jewerly that FI has
given me before was all from Rodgers and Hollands....so this was a
big surprise! But I looove my ring and its simplicity!

bouquets
My bouquet choice from my resort...I chose it mostly for the lilies and stargazer lilies
although in pictures I've seen, they tend to put more pink roses than lilies.
That will definately have to NOT happen because I didnt want roses,
I chose it for the liles. And yes, I know it doesnt match my wedding colors,
but me and stargazers have a love affair going on....
I'm thinking of having AA recreate my resort bouquet for the reception and to keep
later in life (love the idea of keeping it on the mantle or coffee table!)
If that cant happen, maybe I'll have something like this done for the reception.
Theres really no need for another bouquet besides pictures, but we'll see.
CAKES
Since Im not having a ton of people in Mexico, an extravagent
cake was not necessary. I chose this one from the resort,
but want to change the flowers to either stargazers, other lilies,
or flowers in our colors (purple, blues, light greens)
Im not sure if I want to go simple for the AHR
or to go fun and match the beachy theme?

awesome in selling me her dress! It was exactly what I was looking for

Message in a Bottle invitations for Mexico
My MOH painted these scenes on the mailing boxes!!

How to make MIB's:
Supplies- bottles (plastic is easier for shipping)
sand
mini seashells
cocktail umbrellas
ribbon
corks
scented oil
parchment paper, or something like it
Steps: (according to my bottles from sandartsupplies.com)
1. pour sand into bottle, about 1/2 inch
2. add small handful of seashells on top of sand
3. add mini umbrella, unopened
4. tie ribbon around scroll (I made mine on Word, and burnt the edges)
4.5 it might be easier to tie mini hair elastic around scroll first
5. add twine outside bottle
6. use q-tip to add scented oil to bottom of cork
7. keep ribbon outside of bottle as you cork it (so they can lift scroll out)
8. pack in box- I used dark blue tissue paper on bottom, light blue on top
like the ocean!)
9. make sure the return address is on top of box along with sending address-
post office made me rip off label and restick on top because it was on
the back of the box.....stupid post office
10. Mail! You're done! yay!
