Vendor Reviews Michelle Thornton, Day of Coordinator - A+++ Michelle deserves major props from me as I can't even imagine getting through the day without her. She handled everything so professionally and made things transition flawlessly. She was very attentive to my DH and I throughout the day and if anything at all went wrong that day, I have no idea it did. She stayed until clean up was complete and assured that all the details were followed through on. Major thumbs up for Michelle! Wild Thyme Catering - A- I would have given Wild Thyme a B if it weren't for their fabulous servers. They were almost invisible, but my glass was always full. I was extremely impressed with the appetizers, but not so impressed with the dinner buffet. I actually had to ask what the grilled vegetables were. Everything tasted very good, it just didn't have the "wow" factor visually I imagined. No biggie - I didn't hear any complaints, and as I said, the servers did a fantastic job. Jenn Toce of 'Licious Baking - A+++ Jenn did a FANTASTIC job - we are still getting raves over how good the cake was. The design appeared just as we had asked and she also made an "anniversary cake" already boxed up for us so we wouldn't have to pull off the top tier. Her price was very competitive and that cake tasted incredible. Katherine Bettis Photography - A+++ Katherine did a fantastic job. She arrived promptly job organizing us as we were all over the place as we were getting ready and we had alot of fun taking the bride's bridal party pix. At the wedding she was EVERYWHERE! I thought she must have cloned herself, as she just caught everything. She worked so hard to cover everything and did a fantastic job!!! Jennifer French of Lush Floral - A+++++ The MOST incredible bouquets and bouts I could have ever wished for. Jennifer did a fantastic job, I was overwhlemed and was so happy to present the bridesmaids with their incredible bouquets. She was a joy to work with and I appreciate her style and design consideration. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful bouquet. Sally Fletcher of Heavenly Harpist - A+ Sally was so sweet to work with and from what I remember hearing, she played beautifully during the ceremony. I was so excited to find her here in the Bay Area and have every confidence that her performance was just as beautiful as the demo she did for me. Unfortunately I just do not remember - I was SO focused on my DH!!! Greg Gioia of Party Professionals - A Greg did a great job, was very timely and professional. They accepted requests from guests and kept us all moving and shaking. He did a great job hosting the "events" throughout the wedding. Didn't hit my requested playlist dead on, but not a big deal - he did a great job overall. Carrie Quigley with Makeup by SIsters - A++++++++++ CARRIE!!!! Carrie did an AMAZING job transforming my girls and I into a beautiful bridal party! She was very calm and cool while she worked with each girl and they all had a great time getting to know her! My MIL was SO excited about her makeup and all the girls looked just amazing. She did eyelashes for a few of the girls and my Mom and everyone looked stunning. I loved my hair and makeup and felt like such a bride! I highly recommend Carrie. She was one of my best vendors. Bonnie with Cover Ups - A+ Chair covers were delivered on time and looked fabulous and just what I had expected. Great to work with, not the cheapest in the Bay Area, but the covers were high quality (not thin see thru sheets) and their service was top notch. Me and DH - DIY projects - A+ I was so proud to complete so many DIY projects and our guests seem to acknowledge that effort. I may have taken on a few too many projects, but we were able to complete them and I'm glad we put in the effort. They include: Engagement Announcement Engagement Photo Save the Date Invitations Arch Veil Programs Favor Tags Centerpiece flowers (with MAJOR help from a friend) Buffet / cocktail table / other flowers Favor flowers Candle holders Table numbers Misc. decor To sum up, it was truly an amazing day - I couldn't have asked for more! I was very calm, but so full of love and so happy to see my friends and family come together to share our day!
